Second Amendment

HB 4285– Allow Concealed Carry on college campuses.
HB 4831– Prevent credit card companies from assigning merchant codes for firearms, effectively banning the creation of an unofficial gun registry.
HB 4756 – Prohibit Michigan State Capitol Commission from prohibiting lawful CPL holders from carrying concealed in the Capitol.

HB 4202 – Provide income tax exemption for mothers who are at least 12 weeks pregnant, to help provide financial relief during pregnancy.
HB 5641 – Require high quality fetal development videos to be shown to all public school students in sex education or biology classes teaching about reproduction.

HB 4233 – Prohibit foreign purchase of Michigan farmland.
HB 4336 – Criminalize human smuggling in Michigan and impose penalties for hiring large numbers of undocumented individuals.
HB 4830 – Block qualified health care facilities from isolating patients from immediate family members.
HB 4362 – Direct Michigan State Police to establish and maintain a statewide alert system for missing seniors and vulnerable adults, utilizing the federal Wireless Emergency Alert system.
HB 4203 – Exempt tow trucks from seasonal weight restrictions when responding to wrecks so they can provide more efficient roadside assistance.

HB 5364 - Restore parents’ authority and oversight over what their children are taught in school by requiring legislative approval of State Board of Education standards.
HB 4284 – Require public schools to teach accurate and complete aspects of Social Sciences and American History. Examples: The Constitution, Federalist Papers, Separation of Powers, American Revolution, World Wars, Civil War.
HB 4607 – Provide incentive for public schools to have smaller classroom size for K-3rd grades by reducing teacher-student ratio to improve learning.
Letter to MDE and MILEAP – Urged Michigan Dept. of Education and Michigan Dept. of Lifelong Education to comply with U.S. Dept of Education’s directives to eliminate race-based policies, ensuring fair, merit-based opportunities for all students and protecting critical funding for education.
