It’s Time to Stand Up
During the pandemic of 2020, when things seemed out of control and our way of life was falling apart, who was standing up for you? Who was looking out for you, your family, and your ability to make a living? Everyone was affected by the shutdown, and it seemed like it would never end.
I was defending folks’ right to see loved ones, for Christians to retain the freedom to gather in church, and for the elderly and sick to get the help they needed - all medical help, not just for the covid virus. I became your state representative in a devastating time. Today I’m running to be your next state senator (August 4th, 2026) to continue to serve you in the face of whatever we might face in the days ahead. My goal has been and will continue to make a difference in the county, community and state, and for you and your family.
I am not a newcomer to the battles in Lansing and in our state government. If you want change in a meaningful way, I am a leader who will defend you, your family, and all the people I will be representing. I will continue to go to Lansing and fight for you. I will stand up for what is constitutional, dignifying, and respectful to all whom I serve. But I will do it in a practical way that actually gets things done. It’s easy to promise and to rant, but it’s altogether another thing to strategically negotiate for what is possible and what is good.
It’s time to restore Michigan to what Pure Michigan really is and to stand up for Godly values and principles. I will continue to make a difference for you and will stay engaged with you at the local level, even when I am in Lansing. What matters to you, matters to me. That’s why I am running for state senate -- to continue to serve YOU and to help you regain your ability to thrive in society again. But, I need you to assist me in making these necessary changes in Michigan.
My background also helps me provide intelligent discussion for legislation, considering all who might be affected by it. I have worked in various business settings, mostly in the healthcare industry. I am a Christian businesswoman who has helped launch a new Christian school, revived a pregnancy center, and promote prayer in the Capitol and for the benefit of better governance. I am unapologetically pro-life, pro-business and pro-Second Amendment. I am defending parents’ choices in education and in healthcare. I want to hear from you. I want to know what’s on your heart and mind, and to find out what issues are important to you.
